When you place a service request and pay your service fee, 2-10 will assign a repair Pro to your request. If the Pro does not contact you within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) to schedule your appointment, you can reach out to them directly.
Simply view your service request in the Homeowner Portal and you will see the Pro's company name and contact information.
You can find your home warranty plan agreement in the Homeowner Portal. Your plan agreement will become available to you 30 days after you purchase your home warranty.
2-10 will assign a Pro from our network who specializes in the type of item and issue you are experiencing. In some limited situations, 2-10 may offer you the ability to choose your own Pro, also known as Outside Authorization. Unless 2-10 offers you the Outside Authorization, you may not use your own Pro. Please see the plan agreement for more information.

The time it takes to complete a service request depends on several factors - the complexity of your covered issue, if a part needs to be ordered to complete the repair, or if the covered item needs to be replaced. Once you place a service request and pay your service fee, your assigned repair Pro will reach out to you to schedule the in-home appointment, During the appointment, they will diagnose the issue, and if it is covered, they will discuss next steps with you.

Once your coverage begins (30 days after sign-up), you can file a service request 24/7 online via the Homeowner Portal.
You’ll choose your service fee amount when you purchase your home warranty plan. It’s a pre-set fee that you’ll pay each time you place a service request to have a Pro diagnose the problem. 2-10 will then cover the cost to repair or replace the covered item based on your home warranty plan and coverage.
