Our home warranty plans cover parts of up to 28 home systems (HVAC, plumbing and electrical) and appliances (refrigerator, oven, washer, dryer and more) when they break down due to normal wear and tear.
When a covered system or appliance breaks down, you will place a service request and pay your pre-set service fee in the homeowner portal. We’ll assign an independent, trusted repair Pro to diagnose your issue and will cover the cost to repair or replace the covered item per your home warranty agreement and coverage.

Your coverage begins 30 days after sign-up. At that time, you can file service requests 24/7 online via the Homeowner Portal.
Yes, we do cover older appliances and systems. And the best part? No matter the size of your home, location, or age of your appliances and systems, our home warranty plans are the same price for everyone. We’re also transparent about our pricing because no one likes surprises fees or costs when purchasing a home warranty.

Over time, the systems and appliances you rely on most will inevitably break down due to normal use. 2-10 provides coverage for the parts of up to 28 home systems and appliances, so when a covered breakdown occurs, you can place a service request and pay your service fee for the repair or replacement based on the coverage in your plan agreement.

With two plans to choose from, it’s easy to find the coverage you need. Our Systems plan protects parts of 19 major systems like your HVAC, plumbing and electrical starting at just $39.99 a month. If you want to cover the parts of your systems and appliances, then the Pinnacle plan is the best option for you, starting at $59.99 a month.

It depends on the specific system or appliance, but the potential cost to repair or replace these items without a 2-10 home warranty could cost up to:
- AC Unit: Up to $6,000
- Heating Unit: Up to $5,600
- Water Heater: Up to $2,000
- Refrigerator: Up to $1,800
- Oven: Up to $1,200
- Dishwasher: Up to $900
- Clothes Washer: Up to $850

While homeowners insurance may provide coverage for damage caused by serious events such as fire, natural disasters, and theft, it does not cover the cost to repair or replace major systems and appliances caused by routine wear and tear.
With two plans to choose from, it’s easy to choose the coverage that you need. You can protect the parts of your home systems (HVAC, electrical and plumbing) with our Systems plan or opt to cover the parts of both your systems and appliances (refrigerator, oven, washer, dryer and more) with the Pinnacle plan. If we can’t fix a covered item, we’ll replace it for you based on your coverage. A 2-10 home warranty is a great, affordable way to protect your home and budget.
No, but we offer dryer vent cleaning services that you can book in the Homeowner Portal.
Both of our home warranty plans cover leaks for breaks in ductwork connected to heating and/or air conditioning systems, including leaks or breaks in vapor barriers, plenums, dampers, damper-only controls, and registers and grills. Please note that we will only cover the leaks for breaks in ductwork if it's caused by normal wear and tear, insufficient maintenance, or improper installation. Please see the plan agreement for more information.
We do not cover ductwork cleaning. The EPA recommends that you only have your ductwork cleaned under three conditions:
1. There’s visible mold or mildew on your ducts.
2. You notice vermin or insects living in your ducts.
3. Your registers actively expel visible dust when on.
2-10 provides coverage for any type of single-family detached or attached home (including condos and townhomes but excluding homes used for business purposes, within our service area and under 10,000 square feet.
