2-10 Home Buyers Warranty® (2-10 HBW®), the nation’s leading insurance-backed structural warranty provider for new construction homes, is proud to recognize HomeAid Houston and McCalle Fryar on a successful HomeAid Amazing Ladies Organization (HALO) luncheon.
On Wednesday, October 19th, HomeAid held their annual HALO luncheon with nearly 400 attendees. Fryar, the co-chair of the event, is a Builder Solutions Specialist with 2-10 HBW. This year’s theme of “Serving Children/Preserving Futures” focused on initiatives and projects that support homeless children in the greater Houston area.
“Through McCalle’s leadership we have grown the HALO event tremendously, and are able to bring an awareness of the plight of homeless children. Her passion to serve the homeless is translated into creativity, energy and hard work for our charity. Our organization is a better, more effective place because McCalle is part of it,” commented Bette Moser, HomeAid Houston Executive Director.
After attending her first HALO luncheon, Fryar knew she had to and wanted to get involved. Ms. Fryar is also active with Habitat for Humanity, Houston Animal Rescue and is a member of several builder associations. As a Builder Solutions Specialist with 2-10 HBW since 2005, she educates home builders and home buyers on the home building industry, rules and regulations and the benefits of the company’s warranty products, making her advocacy for the basic human need of shelter a natural fit.
“McCalle is a compassionate, caring person,” stated Scott Cromie, CEO of 2-10 HBW. “She loves the home building industry and this work is an extension of her passion to some of the people of Houston who need help the most. We are very proud of her and her commitment in modeling the company’s mission and values.”
